Hardened throughout and marked for easy
identification with the pin catalog number and size. Precision ground and feature 50-55 Rc
core hardness with an ion nitrided surface of 65-74 Rc to eliminate flaking, cracking and
dishing. Thermal resistant to 1100 degrees fahrenheit without the loss of physical properties
Ideal for working with glass filled materials
Available in standard 1/32" to 1/2" dias., and +.005 oversize
Lengths from 6" to 14" with 1/2", 2", 3", and 4" shoulder lengths
Diameter tolerances held to .0003"
True-Hard(TM) M-2 High-Speed Steel
Truly hardened to the core - RC 60/63. Minimize wear, flashing, nicking and dishing. Ideal blanks for cores and blades.
Stocked in fractional and metric diameters in straight and shoulder types
